MELVIN CALIXTO
Everyone has talent and intelligence that is different from one another. Some excels in music, some in arts, and others. Melvin, in my own opinion, has Logical-mathematical intelligence.
It is one of the nine intelligences that has to do with logic, abstractions, reasoning and numbers. While it is often assumed that those with this intelligence naturally excel in mathematics, chess, computer programming and other logical or numerical activities, a more accurate definition places less emphasis on traditional mathematical ability and more on reasoning capabilities, recognizing abstract patterns, scientific thinking and investigation and the ability to perform complex calculations. It correlates strongly with traditional concepts of "intelligence" or IQ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theory_of_multiple_intelligences).
I should say he has Logical-mathematical intelligence because he was one among the few who understand his report, and he was able to impart it to his classmates. He explained the mathematical solution in a simple manner where everybody understood his topic.
I hope, even I ain't as brilliant as Melvin, I could also deliver my report in a manner that everyone will understand and gain the knowledge from. Good luck to me and to all the reporters!! :)
